monthly environmental education programs for participants of

| Outreach
Programs |
Our
staff of experienced educators provide environmental
education programming on just about any natural history
topic... including terrestrial, marine and freshwater communities, plants,
insects, weather, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and
mammals. Over 20,000 participants from area schools, libraries,
senior centers, scout groups, and other community
organizations experience DPNC's hands-on, science based
activities, slide shows, nature walks, and field trips each
year. |

| Summer
Nature Camp |
| Each
year, the Nature Center offers week-long Summer Nature
Camp sessions from June through August for children ages 4
-12.
Campers discover exciting plants and animals at our beautiful sanctuary
and at other local areas of ecological interest. Nature hikes,
pond dipping, craft-making, bug & butterfly catching, and
fun games help make this seasonal program a wonderful way
to enjoy nature and make new friends.

| Wildlife
Information and Rehabilitation |
| The
Nature Center staff fields many wildlife questions each
day. We are part of a region-wide network of wildlife
specialists that handle emergencies and help seek appropriate
care for injured wildlife. For specific wildlife issues see
